It Takes Two to Tango
Which is more passionate: the tangos of Argentina or the choral works of Eric Whitacre?
There’s no need to choose, because our May program is replete with both! We will sing
Primavera
Porteña and other Astor Piazolla tangos arranged for choir by Oscar Escalada. We’ll sing
A Boy
and a Girl and
Five Hebrew Love Songs by Eric Whitacre. Conductor Hughes attended the World
Symposium on Choral Music in Argentina during August 2011, and he is anxious to share with you
the choral treasures he discovered there! Come join us as we prove that
It Takes Two to Tango!
